The founder, Kathy Bennett, has been traveling since she was born. Her passion for travel and knack for being organized, as well as the desire to work from home to be with her young children, prompted Kathy to start Ticket To Travel. “I get to do what I love every day, plan people’s vacations. What can be better than that?” Her love for the business has grown tremendously and she is excited about the future. Kathy has worked hard in acquiring her licenses from the state of Rhode Island, which required many hours of extensive training to provide a professional level of service. She received her Travel Agent License in November of 2005 and her Manager’s License and Travel Agency License in March of 2007. She is a member of the Cruise Line International Association (CLIA). She is also a Disney Specialist (Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and the Disney Cruise Line), a Certified Sandals and Beaches Specialist, and a Master Agent for Secrets, Dreams, and Sunscape Resorts. She is currently studying in the Princess (Cruise Line) Academy, Cruising Power (Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruise Lines), and with the Cancun Tourism Institute. Kathy attends many seminars, workshops, and trade shows in order to keep herself up-to-date with this fast-paced, constantly changing travel industry. |
